You’ve finally signed up for Ambra after hearing about it on social media? Or maybe you’re here to get tips on how to stay more organized? Or you want to learn more about Ambra? Or maybe all of the above? It doesn’t really matter, one thing is for sure: you didn’t come here to be asked questions you can’t answer🤷♀️🤷
We’re just excited to help you make the rest of 2022 the year of productivity 🤗
Let’s get to it…
Ambra is a task management app that can help you organize anything from a software development project to a bachelorette party🤪. So, if you have anything you need to keep track of and you absolutely hate traditional task management tools with their torturous processes, Ambra is your place to go.
When it comes to getting started, this platform has one of the most user-friendly interfaces you’ll find.
We are head over heels in love with UI/UX designers, so it comes as no surprise that we must provide the best user experience possible. It’s so simple to get started that once you learn more about what this collaboration app has to offer, you might never look beyond our interface.🥰
Did we mention the task creation all works by only using @mentions and #tags? Because it does! Similar to using social media platforms, such as Twitter😊
How To Be A Pro With Ambra
Follow these steps and you’re on your way to becoming a productivity ninja🥷
- Write tasks the way you talk
Do you get tired of switching between apps to make a quick note or jot down some thoughts? Coordinating everything in Ambra can simplify your life and boost your productivity.
Emojis have become an essential part of modern communication, both personally and professionally. You can use them to add a little flair or a personal touch to a workplace message. What if you could actually use them to move work forward and increase productivity too?🤔
Emojis in messages and reactions can be used to initiate and manage internal operations. For example, with just a few simple emojis, you can declutter your conversations and eliminate time-consuming back and forth conversations.😉
You can use coloured emojis at the beginning of a message to indicate urgency.
For example:
🔴 Urgent; start working on it ASAP
🟡 Blocking someone’s work
🔵 Not urgent; get to it when you can
They can also be used to communicate or approve task status updates without the need for verbal communication.

2. Colorization for team members and tags
Once you’ve determined the priority level for your tasks, you can visualize them within Ambra by using colorization.
Choose a color for a team member, for example, to help categorize the project’s various tasks, and then use it to find tasks assigned to them more quickly!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎
Colors can also be used to define a tag or priority level, allowing you to quickly identify important tasks that require your immediate attention.
3. Use #tags for task attributes
Assume that your marketing department needs to use a promotional campaign. To make it easier to find, organize this task into several categories such as #ads, #video, and #design. Wonder how you can do that in Ambra?🤔
Tags are used to assign identifiers to tasks in Ambra to make them more accessible. To tag a task, simply name it with the corresponding title and put “#” in front of the word, (ex. #ads, #video, #design)
That’s all there is to it: the task has been tagged.
This tag is applied to all tasks and shared with all team members on the platform page.
To see all tasks in a category, click on the appropriate tag, and the tasks will appear in the task list.
P.s A frequently used tag can also be pinned to make it easier to find.
4. Mention @someone to assign tasks to
During a project, you can remind your team members for different tasks by referring to the issues or tasks that have been assigned to them for prompt follow-up and action. For example, when creating a Timeline task, quickly add team members by @mentioning them, which will appear in your and everyone’s Kanban view and List view.
5. Organize Kanban the way you work
Kanban is a Japanese term for “cards” or “visual cues.” This method was first used in a Japanese manufacturing system to track production within the factory by sending instruction cards down an assembly line to improve efficiency. The same concept is now being used to complete tasks in a more efficient way.
Every project has a Kanban board, where all matters are represented as cards in different columns. These columns can represent the status, intensity, category, subsystem, or repeatability of the topic. This enables your team to see where you stand at any given time and what needs to be addressed.
To rearrange and to prioritize click on a card to drag and drop👀
You can use Ambra to keep projects organized from beginning to end and track progress. Ambra is adaptable to the needs of any project, whether it’s a simple to-do list or a complex workflow.
6. Integrate tools you love (ex.Slack)
Use Ambra to quickly connect other collaboration tools such as Slack channels to stay on top of all projects and incoming requests.💌
When you integrate Ambra with your communication tool and pull in project alerts, deadlines, and notes, you save time, improve collaboration, and enable your team to achieve more. Furthermore, if notifications are organized and searchable, your team will be more productive.
Simply put “/ambra” in front of your Slack message and it will be converted to an Ambra task💛
